For the quail egg fried egg, score the shell and skin of the quail eggs with a sharp knife, then break the shell and slide the egg yolks into a small, shallow container without breaking the yolks. Heat a coated skillet, brush in a little oil, and slide the quail eggs from the container into the skillet.
Turn down the heat a bit and let the fried eggs fry for a few minutes. If you want the egg yolks well cooked too, cover pan with a lid for about half a minute.
