For the cabbage strudel, heat bacon cubes in a pan and caramelize the sugar in it. Add the onion and let it brown. Then add the cabbage and season with salt, pepper, caraway and mucilage.
Add a little water to the mixture and cook until soft.
Let the mixture cool down a bit, pull out the strudel dough and spread it with the filling. Roll up the cabbage strudel and bake in the oven until done.
Remove the cabbage strudel from the oven, cut into slices and serve.
