For the mince roast, soak dumpling bread in milk. Finely chop onion, garlic and capers. Mix minced meat, egg, soaked dumpling bread, onion, garlic, capers and spices.
Press the mixture into a non-stick baking dish (approx. 20 x 25 cm) and cover with the bacon strips. Bake in the oven at 150 degrees for about 50 minutes.
As a side dish is suitable for minced roast mashed potatoes. If the mold is not non-stick, brush it with a little oil beforehand.
